The Diamonds, a classic from Alan R. Moon and Bruno faidutti. I have to admit that, in total, maybe I will have played more than 20 times. And that's quite enough, considering how much I like it. This game is based on risk, a bit like what we saw in Zombie Dice in the sense of standing or to play in exchange for a greater beha danger. I tend to be a cautious player (or cowardly, come on), so the risk games are not usually my thing, but in this case I'm delighted with the Diamonds, because also rewards, in a way, you're a coward. The premise of the game is simple. A scouting party enters a cave, in which there will be precious stones but also pitfalls. Each turn that passes is more likely to happen something horrible, which the scouts, little by little, will backing off, taking with them the gems they find. For the brave, there will be greater rewards (not to distribute both the loot) but there will be the possibility of something bad happening and remain with nothing. Before continuing, let's see what's in the game box.
Contents 1 board game starting 30 playing cards, 15 of which are 5 types of dangers multiplied by 3, the other 15 are letters with diamonds. beha 60 rubies (value beha 1) and 30 diamonds (value 5) August 8 pawns with their treasure chests five obstacles to block the caves.
To start the game, let the 90 stones aside and post the board and the 5 obstacles in the middle of the table. These will be the 5 caves to visit in a game, numbered from 1 to 5. Barajaremos letters cave and leave face down next to go stealing beha them as we go through the cave
In each of the five shipments (are all equal) go cave drawing cards one by one and placing them next to each other, as everyone moves through the cave. After each new card, players decide whether to go or stay (then explain how). Those who stay, will continue forward, taking the opportunity to get better loot, but also risking to run out. Here comes the importance of letters cave. Every time the players reach a letter of diamonds, diamonds are distributed equitably and remainders of the division will remain atop the chart. For example, say that there are 6 scanners and came to a letter of 16 diamonds: everyone would take 2 and would leave the remaining 4 above the letter. That's important for later. The other type of letter that we can find are the letters of danger. At first nothing happens, one warning letter is no problem, beha but if it runs twice, explorers who are still in the cave when it appears they leave with empty hands. Never mind all gemstones have been able to achieve during the current beha expedition, you lose all. It comes to the time you leave. After each letter, explorers may decide to go or stay. The system, so no one knows what others do, is to make a fist and show all your content both on the table. If nothing, the player is, if the hand is the pawn, the player goes. When you leave the cave, the player or players that will be shared precious stones that have fallen by the wayside. As before, is divided equally and let that not be distributed. That gener
